Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Manage and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize productivity and quality.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide project execution.
- Oversee project scheduling using construction management software.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA safety standards, federal construction safety regulations, and company safety policies.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents for accuracy; interpret complex technical information for team members.
- Monitor construction progress through detailed scheduling, manage budgets, and adjust plans as needed.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting work for compliance with specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Lead meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA standards and federal safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy residential or commercial construction management roles with a strong background in supervising teams on-site.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques.
- Familiarity with construction estimating tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols relevant to large-scale projects and industry standards.
