Senior Axiom Regulatory Reporting Architect / Lead Engineer
Role: Lead the re-platforming of our Axiom regulatory reporting architecture, then deliver new modules end to end.
Responsibilities
- Assess and re-platform the Axiom and data architecture (mandatory before any new module work).
- Implement new Axiom modules end to end for FFIEC 031, FR Y-9C, and FR 2052a, including Basel III requirements.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines with AWS Glue and S3 into Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
- Establish data lineage from source systems to report cells for audit readiness.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps controls and enforce cloud security (IAM, encryption, secrets, logging).
- Define Git workflows, branching strategy, and code review standards.
- Collaborate with development, management, security, and operations teams.
Required
- Hands-on Axiom development on FFIEC 031, FR Y-9C, and FR 2052a.
- Strong knowledge of Basel III and Federal Reserve reporting.
- AWS Glue/S3 ETL; Snowflake and PostgreSQL.
- Experience leading architectural re-platforming.
- DevSecOps, cloud security, data lineage, and Git branching expertise.
- Proven end-to-end module delivery in a regulated environment.
Preferred: Python/PySpark, Terraform, FR Y-14/CCAR, banking experience, AWS or Snowflake certifications.
