What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Donor Eligibility position at EVERSIGHT?
Summary
This position is responsible for determining donor eye tissue eligibility based on Eversight and EBAA Medical Standards and is in full compliance with state and federal regulations.
Schedule: M - F (day shift) 100% remote position (4 days/week - 10 hour day shifts)
Job Functions:
- Review case information and in order to make final tissue determination for signoff/ donor eligibility.
- Review all non-surgical case information in order to make final non-surgical determinations.
- Responsible for reviewing serology reports, including data entry.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations, etc.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the Mission and Values of Eversight.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate studies in related fields preferred.
- Experience in the medical field preferred.
- Strong attention to details skills are required. The ability to communicate effectively. Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency. Ability to interact professionally with peers and healthcare staff. Ability to multitask at a high level.
- Knowledge of medical terminology. Proficiency in MS Office.
- Valid driver’s license.
