What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security/Direct Care Aide Full Time position at Evershine Care LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor premises every 2 hours to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Incident reporting: Respond promptly to any situations or disturbances among residents and applying de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Document any security related incidents, ensuring accuracy detail, and timeliness in creating reports
- Monitor and control access at entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized entry
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Uphold all company security protocols and procedures, staying updated with any changes
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
When not patrolling, Security is expected to assist staff and work in collaboration with direct care aides offering support assisting with meal preparation, household duties, and providing companionship and stimulation for the clients.
Qualifications:
-Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must obtain CPR certification within three months of employment
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to de-escalate situations, and a proactive approach to ensuring a safe environment
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position
Must be able to pass a background check, TB screening, and drug test. Must be vaccinated for Covid.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
