Overview: Evers & Sons Inc., with over 40 years of excellence in the construction and energy sectors, is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our fabrication team. This role is pivotal in constructing robust infrastructure projects by performing complex welds according to engineering specifications. Key Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding using Stick and TIG welding processes on carbon steel and other materials.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings and execute work according to project specifications.
• Fit, align, and weld pipe accurately while maintaining proper tolerances.
• Set up and operate personal welding rig and equipment in field conditions.
• Maintain weld quality in compliance with company standards and client specifications.
• Ensure all welds are properly marked, documented, and meet inspection requirements.
• Track daily production and complete required reports/logs.
• Identify hazards and proactively address safety concerns.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, equipment, and tools.
• Mentor helpers or less experienced welders as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pipe welding (field experience preferred).
• Must pass Company welding test.
• Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of welding parameters, pipe fitting, and fabrication techniques.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work in various shifts and extend hours as needed to meet production targets.
• Must pass a pre-employment welding test, background check, and drug screening.
• Physically capable of handling heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
