What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Peer Support Specialist position at EverNine Wellness?
We Are Looking for More Than a Peer Support Specialist
We are looking for a highly motivated Peer Support Specialist who believes recovery happens through action, consistency, and meaningful community engagement.
At EverNine Support, we serve individuals experiencing mental health challenges, housing instability, substance use recovery, re-entry, unemployment, and life transitions. Our Peer Support Specialists are not passive service providers—they are active advocates, resource navigators, mentors, and community connectors.
We are seeking professionals who take ownership of their caseloads, build community relationships, and actively engage clients where they are.

- Meet clients in homes, shelters, libraries, coffee shops, community agencies, and other approved locations.
- Assist individuals with housing searches, employment goals, transportation barriers, benefits navigation, and recovery planning.

- Conduct outreach when clients become difficult to reach.
- Help clients identify goals and create practical action plans.
- Provide crisis support, encouragement, accountability, and resource coordination.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the agency EHR.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training opportunities.
