Key Responsibilities
- Assists the executive steward with training and supervising stewarding personnel with an emphasis on upholding the Evermore Culture in all our offerings.
- Supervises the receiving of product to ensure proper quality and quantity is delivered.
- Guides and works with the stewards in preparation of their job assignments
- Maintains the highest level of security and safety standards for both our guests and Team Members
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pot and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain kitchen work areas including equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils in serving stations, stock areas and refrigeration units
- Sweep and mop floors, including floor mats
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
- Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma
- 3 years’ experience in an upscale facility
- SERV Safe Certified
- Ability to work scheduled shift, weekends, holidays and rotating schedule.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity in all situations.
- Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by Team Members.
- Must have the Spirit of Hospitality and enjoy Guest Service, to both our internal and external guests.
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach repeatedly.
- Able to safely lift, pull and push over 40 pounds.
- Able to be on your feet and move around for long periods at a time.
- Manual dexterity of hand to use all equipment.
