Warehouse (WHS) Quality Operations Consultant - On-Site, Full-Time, Contract Position

Position Summary
The WHS Quality Operations Consultant ensures the quality, compliance, and integrity of incoming materials within a warehouse environment. This role supports inspections and ongoing quality checks to maintain product standards and operational excellence across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities Include the Following:
Quality Inspection & Release
- Perform incoming inspections of finished goods against approved specifications
- Verify documentation (COAs, specs, supplier records) for accuracy and completeness
- Release compliant products into inventory; manage quality status in systems
- Identify and document nonconformances; initiate holds, rejections, and escalations
- Ensure proper material labeling and segregation (approved, rejected, on hold)
Sampling & Warehouse Quality
- Execute sampling plans for incoming and stored materials
- Conduct routine inspections (packaging integrity, labeling, storage conditions)
- Support inventory audits and cycle checks
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate inspection records and logs
- Ensure compliance with GMP and company procedures
- Support investigations and resolution of quality deviations
Qualifications Include the Following:
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (science/technical field) preferred
Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience in warehouse quality, inspection, and manufacturing quality
- Experience in cosmetics, personal care, or GMP-regulated environments preferred
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of GMP, sampling, and inspection methods
- Familiarity with specifications, COAs, and quality documentation
Work Environment:
- On-site role (5 days/week) in a warehouse/distribution setting
- Requires standing, walking, and material handling
- Frequent cross-functional and supplier interaction
