Position Overview: Everlong Captive is seeking a talented .NET Application Engineer to build and shape our technology infrastructure from the ground up. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications in alignment with business requirements and user needs.
- Collaborate directly with end users to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver new features.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure applications meet functional and business requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Deploy applications across development, staging, and production environments following best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders in a Scrum Master-type capacity to prioritize work and manage project timelines.
- Establish development standards and deployment processes as the foundational technical team member.
- Document technical specifications, system configurations, and deployment procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of professional software development experience with .NET framework.
- Proven experience working in a corporate environment with enterprise-level applications.
- Strong track record building new features based on user requirements in a UAT capacity.
- Hands-on experience with application deployment across multiple environments (dev, staging, production).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interface effectively with non-technical end users.
- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
- Background in healthcare, benefits, or insurance industry.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and secure application development practices.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Xen or VMware).
- Experience in agile/scrum environments.
