Repair Technician – Permanent Lighting Systems
About the Role
EverLights is seeking a skilled and motivated Repair Technician to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our permanent lighting systems on residential and commercial properties. You’ll work hands-on in the field, often on rooflines and ladders, using your problem-solving skills to restore system performance and keep our customers’ homes and businesses shining.
We provide comprehensive in-house training, so whether you’re experienced in electrical/low-voltage systems or looking to expand your technical expertise, we’ll give you the tools, knowledge, and support you need to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair EverLights lighting systems in the field
- Test and troubleshoot components, wiring, and controllers to identify root causes
- Work safely on rooftops, ladders, and elevated surfaces
- Communicate clearly with customers about issues, repair needs, and costs
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts used
- Collaborate with branch and support teams to ensure timely job completion
- Uphold company safety and quality standards at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with electrical, low-voltage, or LED systems preferred (training provided)
- Comfort working at heights and on rooflines
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
