Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the facilities and machinery operate efficiently and safely. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our production environment.
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Key Responsbilities:
- Assist Maintenance Manager with equipment and general building maintenance as needed.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement effective solutions. Identify and repair potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in Upkeep, including work orders and equipment logs.
- Monitor and manage maintenance supplies and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with management to reorder supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
