Customer Service Representative
Manufacturing Customer Service Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to handle various customer inquiries professionally and efficiently. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be our customer's first point of contact, providing exceptional service and support.
Manufacturing Customer Service Responsibilities:
· Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
· Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax promptly and professionally.
· Assist customers with product information, order status, returns, and other service-related inquiries.
· Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
· Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department or manager.
· Verify customer information and ensure all transactions are completed correctly.
· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
· Stay informed about company products, services, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
· Provide customers with detailed and accurate product information and recommendations.
· Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
· Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve customer service skills.
· Assist with bi-annual plant inventories.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Manufacturing Customer Service Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with a strong sense of urgency.
Positive attitude and a solid commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
