This individual will play a critical role in the execution of daily treasury activities, serve as a key point of contact with multiple external banking partners, and collaborate across internal stakeholders including Finance, Investments, and Operations. The role also supports strategic initiatives to expand and onboard reinsurance partners, helping ensure seamless integration of treasury processes with new counterparties. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a results oriented environment.Key Responsibilities• Execute daily treasury operations, including cash positioning of policyholder and accounts payable accounts and liquidity management support.• Monitor and reconcile cash flows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in settlements including oversight of settlements with reinsurance counterparties.• Maintain and enhance banking relationships, supporting ongoing discussions with external banking partners.• Enhance counterparty reporting on banking relationships including high level credit analysis and detailed fee analytics.• Support cash forecasting and liquidity planning processes.• Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Accounting, Investments, Operations, Legal) to ensure treasury activities align with business needs.• Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies, controls, and process improvements.• Support treasury-related reporting, compliance, and audits as required.• Play a key role in treasury aspects of onboarding new reinsurance partners, including bank account set-up, funding flows, collateral arrangements, and ongoing operational support.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field• 3–5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or banking.• Strong knowledge of cash management, banking operations, and liquidity practices.• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.• Proficiency in Excel and treasury management systems; familiarity with accounting and ERP systems preferred.• Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.• Prior experience in life insurance or financial services sectors is a plus.What We Offer· Opportunity to work with a collaborative team and build relationships with senior stakeholders and external banking partners.· Exposure to a broad range of treasury activities, including strategic reinsurance growth initiatives.· Competitive compensation and benefits package.Benefits:· Medical, dental and vision benefits· 401-k plan· Incentive Program· Flexible paid time off plan· Hybrid work environment· Paid holidays· Tuition assistance
