Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment using schematics, hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and other specialized tools.
- Conduct small drywall, painting, and general repairs to maintain the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of the hotel.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schematics for systems and logs for repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff to resolve issues efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Oversee building interior maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repairs, and fixture replacements to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building operations within a hospitality or residential environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system repair, plumbing maintenance, small electrical equipment repair, and building interior upkeep.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to electrical work and HVAC systems.
- Skilled in drywall, painting, plumbing repairs, and the use of hand tools.
- Experience working with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) procedures to ensure all facilities equipment functions reliably.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with leadership qualities to coordinate with team members effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience.
