Duties
- Daily front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and billing procedures
- Deliver outstanding guest services with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and handle guest requests with a positive attitude
- Address concerns swiftly ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold hotel policies, phone etiquette, and customer service best practices
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and special requests for future reference
- Uphold hotel standards by enforcing policies related to guest safety, security, and hospitality protocols
- Assist in resolving complex guest issues or complaints with tact and professionalism to foster loyalty
- Assist in back-of-house operations including but not limited to cleaning public areas, vacuuming corridors, processing hotel laundry, etc.
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends and some holidays. 8-24 hours per week with potential to move to full-time status.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality or equivalent front desk reception work
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience working in a hospitality operation is advantageous
