Duties
- Carefully trim and manicure cannabis plants, ensuring they meet established quality and aesthetic standards
- Remove excess leaves, stems, and other plant material using precision trimming techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trimming areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trimming processes to ensure consistency and safety
- Assist with harvesting activities, including plant handling and preparation for curing or packaging
- Monitor plant health during trimming, identifying signs of pests or disease that may require further action
- Collaborate with the cultivation team to ensure timely processing of harvests and adherence to production schedules
Skills
- Experience with greenhouse cultivation, outdoor work, or garden trimming preferred
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, agricultural environmental control systems, and crop production techniques
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for measuring plant materials and managing quantities effectively
- Experience managing horticultural teams or working in landscaping or farming environments is a plus
