Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical operations and be proficient in various manufacturing processes. This role involves working with precision tools and machinery to ensure high-quality production standards are met. The Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the overall production workflow.

Responsibilities

Main duties of the Grinder Technician and WTR position include

• Wear all appropriate PPE for position including ear plugs, safety glass, cut resistant gloves etc.
• Following appropriate LOTO once trained. Grinders have to be locked out when work is being done on them.
• Operate a forklift in a safe manner and adhere to all forklift policies and procedures.
• The ability to do full blade changes in a timely manner once fully trained.
• Use hand tools to accomplish the job. (Impact gun, torque wrench)
• Communicate issues to the team leader or maintenance team should you find an issue.
• Work in tight spaces when needed.
• Ability to accurately take inventory count of blades on hand as well as grinder screens.
• Some lifting is required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shift and overtime when necessary.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with grinder once trained and to be able to pass along to team leader or maintenance team.
• Able to follow and understand work instructions for completing grinder blade change.
• Work in and around chemicals in WTR. Appropriate PPE is required when doing so.
• Exposure to some corrosive and hazardous chemicals in WTR.
• Take hourly PH and WTR system readings and log them on paperwork.
• Troubleshoot WTR system and accurately communicate issues to team leader or maintenance personnel when needed.
• Ability to work on chemical pumps and system when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.25 - $20.75 per hour
