What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Youth Advocate position at Evergreen Youth and Family Services?
Do you want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth in our community? Evergreen Youth & Family Services is hiring Youth Advocates at our Youth Crisis Shelter in Bemidji. We are looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who are approachable and able to set boundaries while keeping things positive and engaging.
We offer flexible shifts – perfect for students, early risers, night owls, or anyone in between. Evening and weekend availability is a must, and if you thrive on meaningful work, we’d love to meet you!
What you’ll do as a Youth Advocate:
- Support youth ages 9–17
- Complete intakes and provide case management
- Maintain a safe and supportive living environment
- Assist with meals, household tasks, recreation, and crisis response
What we’re looking for:
- Applicants 21 with experience or interest in working with at-risk youth
- Team players who can work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong communication, integrity, and a heart for helping youth thrive
Wage: $20–$25/hour
