What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant/Technician position at Evergreen Veterinary Hospital?
We are seeking an Experienced veterinary tech/assistant. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30, Wednesdays from 7:30-12, and weekend kennel shifts required on a rotating schedule. Pay will be determined on skill and experience.
Avimark software knowledge is a plus, but not required. Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning, disinfection and preparing medical equipment in between surgeries/appointments; drawing/administering vaccinations; proper handling of pets for appointments/doctor examinations; surgery prep; catheter placement; updating patient records; and providing owners with educational resources/information on how to best care for their animals. An outgoing personality with a loving compassion for animals is a must!
