Medical Assistant--Urgent Care

Job Description
- Provide care for our Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Immigration Medical patients
- take focused histories and vitals
- perform point-of-care tests, phlebotomy, and vaccine administration
- assist in procedures such as suturing and splinting
- Follow up with patients via phone or video to ensure they are feeling better.

Qualifications
- experience in an MA role.
- a warm bedside manner
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (we use Athena) and Google Workspace
- Bilingual? Helpful but not required!
- Willingness to learn the business and operational aspects of healthcare
- This is a new model of Urgent Care so an open mind, a "can do" attitude, flexibility, and resilience are required!
