Qualifications
- BS Engineering Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- AWS Practitioner or Solutions Architect Required [let's discuss this...these quals will drive up the rate considerably]
- Knowledge & skills typically resulting from 1-3 years of related experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, application resiliency and recovery testing
- Experience in testing Web Services and APIs using Fiddler, Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured, SoapUI, etc., including defect management and tracking
- Experience in Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, Databases, Microsoft .Net, Microservices, etc
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors

Responsibilities
- Disaster Recovery (DR) Documentation and Readiness
- Support application and technology teams in transforming traditional DR solutions to secure, agile, scalable, always-on, cloud-first environments
- Assist Application and infrastructure owners in developing Application Recovery Plans (ARPs) and Infrastructure Recovery Plans (IRPs) for both cloud and on-premise environments
- Ensure completion and upkeep of Application Impact Analysis (AIAs) of new and existing IT applications and systems
- Maintain on-prem and cloud application compliance scorecard and resolve deficiencies
- Act as the primary resource for ServiceNow tickets submitted for F5, Firewalls, servers, and storage requests directed to the team and respond quickly and efficiently
- Work with application teams and infrastructure SMEs/engineers to document, diagnose and resolve issues that arise during the quarterly DR Exercises
- Willing to participate in quarterly and ad hoc IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) exercises, including tabletops and production traffic failover, with internal application owners and external vendors
- Generate DR Exercise reports with assistance from the app and infra readiness team, summarizing testing activities, results, analysis, and recommendations
- Support response and recovery activities for high-profile technology disruptions, including cyberattacks, natural disasters, man-made disasters, and other crisis scenarios
