$120,000 – $165,000 ~6% annual bonus

About the Opportunity

A well-established, global manufacturing organization is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to support a key production facility. This is a high-visibility role partnering directly with plant leadership to drive financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and influence strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning
• Analyze financial performance vs. forecast and provide actionable insights
• Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and variance analyses to leadership
• Translate financial data into clear business recommendations

Plant & Operational Finance

• Oversee cost accounting across labor, materials, inventory, and overhead
• Monitor key plant metrics: headcount costs, scrap, production efficiency, and inventory
• Support product costing, margin analysis, and standard cost updates
• Partner with operations to track daily/weekly performance and drive improvements

Business Partnership

• Act as a strategic advisor to the Plant Manager and site leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and accounting
• Support capital investment analysis (ROI, payback, etc.)
• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5 years of finance/accounting experience
• 2 years in a manufacturing or plant environment (required)
• Strong expertise in forecasting, P&L management, and financial analysis
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills; strong business communication abilities
• Knowledge of inventory, cost accounting, and plant operations

Preferred:

• CPA, CMA, or MBA
• Experience supporting plant leadership or operations teams
