We’re looking for an energetic Resident Accounts Coordinator to join our team and help us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. - As an Resident Accounts Coordinator at Evergreen, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our financial records in tip-top shape, supporting other departments like Maintenance and Leasing, and ensuring our residents have the best experience possible. - This position is a blend of hands-on accounting and lots of customer interaction, so it’s perfect if you’re someone who likes to balance attention to detail with helping others. You’ll be in touch with residents, vendors, and utility companies, always looking for ways to resolve issues/accounts efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with internal audits alongside the Finance & Budget Manager.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring everything from rental income to vendor bills is processed accurately and on time.
- Help manage and organize both tenant and property files.
- Process security deposits, late fees, and delinquent tenant notices as needed.
- Manage utility shut-offs for properties and coordinate payments to get services back on track.
- Maintain professional relationships with everyone from tenants to vendors, always keeping a positive attitude and great communication skills.
- Pitch in with year-end tax reporting and 1099 forms for owners, vendors, and contractors.
- Be a supportive team player with the Leasing and Maintenance departments, lending a hand where needed.
- Ensure all communication is in compliance with Fair Housing, OSHA, ADA, and other laws.

Qualifications & Experience:
- We prefer an Associate's degree or certification. Other experience will be considered .
- A valid driver’s license and auto insurance (because you’ll be doing some occasional travel).
- A solid commitment to learning and growing in your role.
Physical Requirements
- Vision Requirements
- Constant need (90 to 100% of the time) to complete forms, read and review reports, view computer screen, and complete a wide variety of email correspondence. Frequent need (30-50% of the time) to see small detail.
- Hearing Requirements
- Constant need (66 to 100% of the time) to communicate over the phone and in person.
Moderate needs to be outdoors (10-20% of the time). Desk job working at the computer (60 to 90% of the time). Frequent use of office equipment requiring finger dexterity. Occasional need for filing (bend, stoop, and squat), errands throughout the office property (climbing stairs), and storing supplies (reach above shoulders) (20 to 33% of the time).
Travel Requirements
Moderate need (5-15% of the time) to utilize personal transportation to complete the needs of the company, including making bank deposits or serving demands for compliance. -- (Mileage will be re-imbursed!)
Type of Employment
Non-Exempt full-time position.
