We excel in transforming spaces through thoughtful bathroom remodels, kitchen renovations, deck builds, flooring installations, and door/window replacements — always prioritizing craftsmanship, durability, and client satisfaction.

Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Renovation Specialist to join our team. This role focuses heavily on residential and light commercial renovation projects, including full or partial remodels of bathrooms, kitchens, decks, floors, doors, windows, and related upgrades. You'll bring hands-on expertise to deliver beautiful, functional results while collaborating on a variety of property improvement tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or assist with renovation projects, including bathroom remodels (tiling, fixtures, vanities, showers), kitchen renovations (cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, appliances), deck construction/repair, flooring installation (hardwood, laminate, tile), and door/window replacements.
  • Perform precise carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, and finishing work for high-end remodels.
  • Handle installations, upgrades, and custom modifications to meet client visions and functional needs.
  • Troubleshoot renovation challenges (e.g., plumbing/electrical integration in wet areas, structural adjustments for decks).
  • Work efficiently with the team to complete projects on time, within budget, and to premium standards.
  • Maintain safe, clean job sites and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of proven experience in home renovations, particularly bathrooms, kitchens, decks, floors, doors/windows, and related remodeling.
  • Strong carpentry skills with proficiency in finish work, installations, and custom builds.
  • Comfortable using power tools, saws, tile cutters, and renovation-specific equipment.
  • Owns basic to intermediate personal tools (e.g., hammer, drill, level, tape measure, saws, etc.).
  • Ability to read plans, measure accurately, and execute detailed work with high attention to quality.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs, working in tight spaces (e.g., bathrooms), and handling outdoor tasks (e.g., decks in various weather).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications (Huge Plus):

  • Strong tiling skills and experience (e.g., ceramic, porcelain, natural stone; layout, cutting, grouting, waterproofing) — this is a huge plus and can lead to higher pay and priority consideration!
  • Experience with modern materials and trends in bathroom/kitchen remodels, deck building, and energy-efficient windows/doors.
  • Knowledge of Vermont building codes, permitting processes, and safety standards (OSHA certification a plus).
  • Additional skills in minor plumbing, electrical rough-in, or other finish trades.

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay based on renovation experience and skill level (higher rates for strong tiling expertise).
  • Opportunities for overtime on larger remodel projects.
  • Potential for advancement to lead renovation roles or project management.
  • Flexible scheduling when possible.
  • Supportive team environment focused on quality craftsmanship.
  • Paid time off (accrued).
