POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Lake House Supervisor, this position serves as the primary ambassador for the Evergreen Lake House. This hands-on leadership role combines hospitality, business development, and operational oversight to maximize venue utilization, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional experiences from initial inquiry through event completion. Working alongside staff, clients, vendors, and community partners, this position leads the successful execution of weddings, private events, corporate rentals, and community events while strengthening the Lake House's reputation as Evergreen's premier event destination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective event clients, providing exceptional service from initial inquiry and facility tour through event completion and post-event follow-up.
- Cultivate lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners to deliver memorable guest experiences and encourage repeat business.
- Conduct venue tours, guide clients through the planning process, and provide hands-on leadership during event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Lead, mentor, and work alongside event support staff, providing hands-on leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance management to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize venue utilization, expand programming, and drive revenue growth.
- Monitor event revenue, expenses, and performance metrics, making recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the Marketing team and promote the Lake House through social media, community outreach, and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate and actively support event logistics, including vendor coordination, facility readiness, event setup, troubleshooting, and operational execution.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative ideas that enhance the guest experience and strengthen the Lake House's competitive position.
- Maintain accurate event records, booking calendars, contracts, and client communications.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Lake House through administrative coordination, event preparation, facility support, and other related duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn recreation software.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and outdoor events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Associate's degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Recreation, Event Management, Communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in hospitality, venue operations, event management, customer service, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months.
- Valid Colorado driver's license.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience in weddings, hospitality, tourism, hotel operations, or special event venues.
- Experience with ActiveNet, Team Sideline, or similar event management software.
- Experience with marketing, social media, budgeting, or business development.
Salary : $51,500 - $77,200
