What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Evergreen Medical Center?
Basic Responsibilities:
Cleans assigned areas of the hospital including patient rooms, departments, corridors, etc. Mops, buffs, and vacuums floors. Collects soiled or clean linens; washes, sorts, dries, and folds linens. Collects waste from all areas of the facility. Is responsible for the general cleanliness of the facility.
Basic Requirements:
· High School Diploma or the equivalent
· Some related experience in the healthcare setting, preferred
· Must have knowledge of proper housekeeping technique and procedures
· Must know appropriate house cleaning equipment and supplies used to complete assigned duties.
