Duties

  • Engage in outside sales activities by visiting potential clients and conducting face-to-face meetings to promote products and services.
  • Develop new business opportunities through targeted lead generation, cold calling, and territory management strategies.
  • Manage existing accounts with a focus on retention and upselling to maximize revenue streams.
  • Deliver compelling product demos that highlight features and benefits tailored to customer needs.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, update customer information, and analyze sales trends for strategic planning.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns that support business development initiatives and increase brand awareness.

Experience

  • Proven success in outside sales or B2B (business-to-business) sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong management skills demonstrated through territory management or team leadership roles.
  • Experience in technology sales or technical sales requiring product demonstrations and detailed product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent analysis skills for assessing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Skilled in negotiation, customer service, and account management to foster long-term client relationships.
