Essential Functions:
- Safely transport residents to and from hospitals, doctor appointments, and other facilities as needed.
- Provide clear and respectful communication with residents, families, and facility staff.
- Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the trip.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.
- Report any incidents, concerns, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
- Support residents during transitions, offering reassurance and promoting a smooth experience for both residents and their families.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred (helps ensure safe and comfortable transfers)
- Active Washington State driver’s license in good standing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Experience working with elderly or vulnerable populations a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility challenges.
- Attention to safety and detail in both driving and assisting residents.
