Job Summary:
Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator Central Supply Clerk to join our dynamic team! As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth coordination of patient care and supply management.
- Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, in accordance with center facility assessment. Post schedules for staff at least two weeks in advance.
- Keep accurate records of staff attendance, time-off requests, and shift swaps.
- Manage supply inventory, ordering and receiving medical supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal supply levels and optimal utilization of resources
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
- Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to address scheduling and supply-related issues in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business) is an asset
- 1 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software systems
