Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian (RD) to support our facilities in Polson and Hot Springs, Montana. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated nutrition professional who wants a flexible part-time role while making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.

We’re looking for someone local who can provide consistent, hands-on support to our teams and residents. Ideally, you’ll visit each facility at least once per week, allowing you to build relationships with residents and staff, collaborate with the care team, and help ensure residents receive the individualized nutritional care they deserve.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individualized nutrition care: Complete nutritional assessments and develop care plans based on residents’ needs, preferences, and health goals.
• Monitor resident well-being: Evaluate nutritional status, identify residents at risk, document findings, and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with care teams: Work alongside nursing, dietary services, physicians, and facility leadership to support resident health and quality of care.
• Support menus and meal planning: Review and approve menus to help ensure meals meet residents’ nutritional needs and dietary requirements.
• Build relationships on-site: Visit the Polson and Hot Springs facilities regularly, ideally at least once per week at each location, to provide consistent support and guidance.
• Promote quality and compliance: Help ensure nutritional care and dietary services meet applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Educate and support staff: Provide nutrition-related guidance and training to dietary and other facility team members as needed.
• Contribute to quality improvement: Participate in nutrition, hydration, and skin care initiatives and help identify opportunities to improve resident outcomes.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field that meets applicable requirements.
• Completion of a Dietetic Internship or equivalent, as required.
• Current Registered Dietitian credential and applicable state licensure or certification.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with facility teams.
• A compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Long-term care or senior living experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between Polson and Hot Springs for regular on-site visits.
