Hospitality Aide / Smoking Attendant (Must be 21+)

Job Summary:

Pahrump Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Hospitality Aide / Smoking Attendant. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enter the healthcare field, with a pathway to CNA training. In this role, you will support residents with non-clinical needs while also monitoring and assisting with designated smoking areas to ensure resident safety and compliance with facility policies.

Essential Functions:

• Answers call lights and responds to resident needs
• Distributes linens and makes beds
• Serves and collects meal trays; assists with tray monitoring
• Transports residents via wheelchair or cart
• Passes fluids and nourishments to residents who do not require assistance
• Cleans utility rooms, storage areas, and resident rooms, closets, and drawers
• Stocks supplies and empties soiled linen and incontinence containers
• Cleans, disinfects, and stores bedpans, commodes, and urinals
• Supervises designated smoking areas and ensures resident safety and adherence to facility policies
• Reports any safety concerns or incidents to nursing staff
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older (required for smoking attendant responsibilities)
• Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare preferred
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
