Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Nursing located in Merced, CA. The Director of Nursing will oversee all nursing operations within the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. Responsibilities include managing nursing staff, developing and implementing nursing policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and monitoring infection control protocols. Collaboration with medical staff and leadership teams to optimize long-term care and improve patient outcomes is also a key component of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Nursing and Long-term Care
- Experience in Nursing Management and leadership roles
- Knowledge of Infection Control procedures and best practices
- Solid foundation in Medicine, including clinical decision-making and patient care standards
- Proven ability to manage, train, and support nursing teams effectively
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is highly preferred
