What You’ll Do:
- Prepare meals from pre‑planned menus
- Handle daily food prep and ensure high‑quality taste and presentation
- Follow safe food‑handling and sanitation standards
- Support meal service with timely, organized delivery
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly
- Food Handler’s card (or ability to get one)
- Experience with cooking and food preparation in a professional or commercial kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and State health regulations
- Ability to maintain compliance with kitchen and food service standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active during shifts
- Preferred: Experience cooking in healthcare or skilled nursing
