Job Summary:
The Clinic Practice Manager II, RN is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations, financial performance, and clinical oversight of multiple clinic locations, in Kirkland and Monroe. This role manages physicians and staff and oversees patient scheduling, patient flow, medical records, patient accounting, supply ordering, and complaint resolution. The position supports complex operations that may include multi‑specialty clinics, multiple locations requiring travel, large provider and staff teams, facility site management, and oversight of ancillary, surgical, or inpatient services.

This role leads clinical integration and quality operations across EvergreenHealth Women’s Care, providing coaching and oversight for RN and MA teams. The Clinic Practice Manager II, RN is responsible for clinical workflow development, triage‑based scheduling, patient care coordination, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and clinical complaint resolution. The position seeks continuous improvement through the application of Lean principles to standardize workflows while allowing for customization where appropriate.
Primary Duties:
- Collaborates with EHMG leadership to develop the role of the nurse in the Women’s ambulatory setting, including scope of practice and staff development.
- Oversees and collaborates with leadership to integrate ambulatory nursing into strategic initiatives of the organization.
- Collaborates with Women’s and Children’s leadership to support implementation of standard work and provide clinical oversight of RN and Medical Assistant scope of practice.
- Collaborates with the Women’s and Children’s leadership and the Quality Department to evaluate and implement national preventive measures.
- Achieves budgeted expenses and revenue on a monthly and annual basis for each clinic. On an annual basis, develops revenue and expense projections for multiple departments and capital budgets within EvergreenHealth guidelines for each clinic.
- Ensures multiple offices and personnel follow EvergreenHealth policies. Ensures operation is in regulatory compliance with all governing agencies or bodies (OSHA, J C, Medicare, HIPAA etc.). Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and security of patient medical records.
- Responsible for ensuring staff are trained in proper PMSI use and newly implemented EMR processes and procedures.
- Works in collaboration for the development and promotion of a continuous quality improvement culture. Follows through on projects from design through completion, learning and next steps, in conjunction with the medical director(s), department leadership, staff, and others as appropriate.
- Responsible for CQI indicator monitoring, data collection and reporting.
- Teams with physicians to ensure multiple clinics are operating at peak efficiency.
- Coordinates with primary care and other specialty managers to ensure a seamless referral process and maximize system integrity.
- Monitors and when necessary, develops improvement plans to increase patient satisfaction for multiple clinics.
- Provides oversight and initiates strategies and goals to ensure an effective and efficient revenue cycle.
- Monitors labor productivity reports against the targets using the Premier OA system and is accountable for clinic targets and standard key performance indicators set through the annual organizational budget & performance target settings for multiple clinics.
- In coordination with division leadership and EvergreenHealth Strategic Priorities, develops growth strategies for multiple specialties and clinics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN), healthcare administration, business, or clinical area or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- 5 years of RN experience
- 4 years of management experience in a health care setting, preferably in a medical clinic.
DESIRED for the position:
- Master’s degree (e.g. MSN, MBA, MHA)
- Experience managing either multi-dimensional clinics or multiple medical clinics
- Training in Lean or Six Sigma
- Project and change management experience
