As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating, cooling, and comfort systems while providing an outstanding customer experience. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
- Install and service heating equipment, air conditioning systems, thermostats, ventilation equipment, fireplaces, hearth products, and generators
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend effective solutions
- Respond to service calls and emergency repair requests in a timely manner
- Ensure all parts, tools, and materials are accounted for and properly stocked
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners and team members
- Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations
- Stay current on industry advancements, products, and technology
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 5 years HVAC service and troubleshooting experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively
