Nurse's Aide Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assists with resident food service
- Makes beds for residents who are unable to do so
- Assists with bathing of residents
- Assists residents with dressing and grooming - morning cares
- Provides nail care on a monthly basis
- Assists residents with oral hygiene and denture care
- Helps prevent skin breakdown on residents
- Takes vitals on a monthly basis for every resident
- Assists residents with ambulation and transferring as needed
- Works to prevent contractures or ill effects of immobility
- Reports observations/changing conditions to the charge nurse at the end of every shift
- Assists nursing staff with after-death care of residents who die in the facility
- Assists with laundry and personal cares
- Maintains a pleasant, positive, and caring attitude
- Assists residents with toileting as needed
- Assists in keeping residents rooms clean and free of clutter
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
