As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting with endoscopic procedures and providing high-quality patient care. ```Duties:```
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including obtaining vital signs and medical history
- Assist the physician during procedures by assisting with instruments, monitoring patients, and collection and documentation of specimens
- Administer medications as directed by the physician
- Perform patient assessments before, during, and after procedures
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or complications
- Document all patient care accurately and timely
- Provide patient education regarding pre and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
```Qualifications:```
- Valid RN license in CT
- Experience in an Endoscopy setting preferred but not required
- Proficient in medical terminology and knowledge of endoscopic procedures preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Pre-operative and PACU experience preferred but not required
-Acute care experience Preferred
