Shift Supervisor:

Our Hourly Shift Supervisors not only have an appetite for bottomless fun amp; compassion for our crazy loyal guests, they manage day to day operations of the restaurant during scheduled mid and closing shifts under the supervision of exempt management. Candidates and current Team Members who demonstrate our B.U.R.G.E.R values may be selected by exempt management for the Shift Supervisor position and will undergo on-the-job training for specific management tasks and leadership growth. As a part of the leadership team, they are an ambassador of Company amp; Brand Equity Standards to ensure the loyalty of our guests and profit maximization. They are master resolvers with guest interactions, driven to optimize profits, and ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness. Candidates and current Team Members selected for this role may work in this position as well as other hourly roles they are certified in and are scheduled based upon restaurant need.

• Ensure Team Members avoid cross contamination, improper food handling and/or storage practices, etc., through proper training and supervision.

Sounds Great! What’s the catch?

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Minimum of 6 months full service restaurant experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.

• Serv Safe certified preferred.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays. Reliable transportation required.

• Must wear personal protective equipment as required by Red Robin and or mandated by local Health and Safety Departments.

Superhuman powers not required, but you should expect:

• Lifting to 10lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally; Lifting overhead frequently.

• Color and depth perception required for vision. Needs both near and far vision.

• Twists and reaches regularly. Grasps objects to move or manipulate them frequently.

• Stands and walks constantly.

• Listen to and comprehend Team Members and guests over background amp; equipment noise.

• Frequent hand washing required.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, heat and a/c, amp; freezer.

• Expect to work with computers, iPad technology for inventory, calculators, copy machines, printers, desk supplies, cash drawers, food products and cooking equipment.

• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.

• Good oral and written communication skills. Basic business math and accounting skills.
