Evergreen Dance Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Tap Dance Instructor to join our team for 2026/2027 summer, fall, and winter classes. Our studio is known for its supportive, positive culture and strong sense of community.
We work with dancers ages 3–18, from beginner through pre-professional levels, and are looking for someone who brings both strong technical training and an engaging, upbeat teaching style. If you love working with dancers, building confidence, and creating a fun yet disciplined classroom environment, we would love to connect with you.
Position Details:
- Teach Tap classes for ages 5–18 (with potential adult classes)
- Opportunity to choreograph for our competitive team
- Part-time schedule
- Pay: $35–$50 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement level-appropriate tap curriculum
- Maintain a positive, encouraging classroom environment
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and reliability
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented studio culture
Qualifications:
- Strong background in Tap dance technique
- Minimum 2 years of dance teaching experience
- Ability to teach a range of ages and skill levels
- High energy, dependable, and organized
- High School Diploma required
- Reliable transportation
