Autism Assessments & Mental Health Therapy
Evergreen Counseling is seeking a compassionate, motivated Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our growing private practice as an independent contractor (1099). This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys both psychological assessment and psychotherapy in a collaborative, supportive, and neurodiversity-affirming environment.
The psychologist will conduct autism assessments for children and adolescentswhile also providing individual mental health therapy for children, teens, and adults (if desired).
Responsibilities
- Conduct autism assessments for children and adolescents as part of comprehensive autism evaluations.
- Complete assessment scoring, interpretation, and written reports.
- Provide individual outpatient therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with referring providers, schools, and other professionals as appropriate.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with Ohio licensing regulations.
Qualifications
- Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in the State of Ohio.
- Experience providing therapy to children, teens, and adults.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for neurodiversity-affirming, client-centered care.
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
