Our services are designed to assist community members who are facing personal or economic adversity by providing a range of wrap-around services tailored to the specific needs of individuals and families. EChO’s programs include the Food Pantry, Client Services, Education Center, Evergreen Shelter Program and the EChO Resale Shop.
EChO serves a diverse population primarily consisting of residents of the unincorporated mountain areas of Jefferson, Clear Creek, Gilpin, and Park counties.

We are currently seeking a Food Pantry Associate to join our team. This position is perfect for you If you have a passion for serving the community, comfortable working with the public and the community we serve, is detail oriented, safety focused, a creative problem solver, flexible and adaptable, and thrive in a busy environment.
Summary of Responsibilities
The Food Pantry Associate assists with the daily operations of the food pantry, including volunteer supervision and training, processing donations and deliveries, driving company vehicles to pick up supplies, recordkeeping, inventory management, waste management, and maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment.
This is a client- and volunteer-facing position. The Food Pantry Associate provides courteous, respectful service to clients, works closely with volunteers, and helps ensure a positive experience for everyone visiting the food pantry. The Associate works as part of the food pantry team to keep the pantry organized, well-stocked, and operating efficiently.
Physical and Other Requirements
This position involves frequent physical activity, including bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and spending extended periods standing and walking. A clean driving record is required. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience supervising volunteers or leading teams is preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential. Candidates should have a passion for EChO and our mission of serving the Evergreen community.
This position is scheduled to work Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The hourly rate is $20.00–$22.00, depending on experience.
