Job Description
The Behavioral Education Treatment Director (BETD) is a dynamic position for an accomplished behavior analyst with a diverse background. The position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborates with the Vice President of Behavioral Services and Professional Development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Behavioral Education Team Supervisors
- Collaborate with the Directors, Divisions, and Programs to ensure the provision of high-quality behavioral services to individuals supported by the Evergreen Center
- Develop staff training materials for teaching the steps involved in educational and clinical program development
- Supervise functional behavior assessments
- Provide training related to approved restraint curriculum
- Participate in Executive Team and Admissions meetings
- Assist with assessment and screening of new referrals
- Supervise Level III Safety Plans and conducts monthly Interdisciplinary Review Team (IRT) meetings
- Supervise behavior support plans for special cases requiring the highest level of clinical supervisory review
- Supervise clinical supports for students with clinical disorders requiring advanced treatment techniques as designated by the Chief Executive Officer
Qualifications
- Doctorate (Ed.D., Ph.D., Psy.D) in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or related field, and experience with applied behavior analysis in a direct service, training and/or school-based consultation capacity
- Comprehensive knowledge of ABA, instructional design, curriculum, and assessment methodologies.
- Experience with professional adult education, including experience as an instructor at the higher education level
- At least five years’ experience in the field, two years of which must reflect administrative experience
- Board certification as behavior analyst (B.C.B.A.)
- Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst – Massachusetts
