What are the responsibilities and job description for the Harvesting Supervisor position at Everglades Harvesting, Inc.?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise multiple harvesting crews
- Daily planning for harvesting crews in multiple farm locations
- Communicate with multiple growers
- Coordinate which crews will work in various farm locations
- Ensures all laborers are properly trained and prepared to work
- Train Crew Leads in basic computer payroll
- Maintain daily schedule of crew farm operations
Education and Experience
- 1-3 years experience in supervising harvesting operations
- Knowledge of harvesting operations including planting, harvesting, cultivating etc. is a plus but not required
