Pay:
$2,000 Sign-on Bonus
$26–$30 per hour $2,500 annual bonus eligibility

Schedule:
Standard Hours: Day shift, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

You’ll play a key role in supporting our production operations by maintaining and calibrating equipment, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring a safe workplace. Ideal for candidates with hands-on maintenance experience and a team-player mindset. This role supports day-to-day building and equipment maintenance in a clean, regulated manufacturing environment - no overnight shifts or rotating schedules.
POSITION SUMMARY: Purpose of this position is to provide support to production operations either directly by assisting with production related activities or indirectly by maintaining and/or introducing new critical building equipment and systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO MOST DAYS
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility and production-support equipment
• Complete routine equipment checks and plant walk-throughs
• Coordinate on-site maintenance vendors
• Maintain maintenance records in a computerized system
• Support installation and startup of new equipment
• Work closely with production and quality teams to minimize downtime
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and/or facilitate equipment calibrations and preventative maintenance in accordance with internal procedures on process and/or test equipment and facility plant systems within specific timescales / deadlines to keep calibration and maintenance schedule up to date.
- Perform plant walk-arounds recording the status of plant equipment and associated systems to aid in preventative maintenance. Data gathering on the performance of equipment.
- Communicate with other departments to assist in the planning of planned or unplanned maintenance which may affect production or quality.
- Assist with the control and monitoring of production related materials and critical spares.
- Liaise with external service providers who visit the site to perform critical works, as required.
- Assist with waste disposal procedures to ensure the safe and compliant disposal of waste from the site.
- Participate in Health and Safety initiatives throughout the site.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of work experience and relevant certifications
- Calibration and maintenance experience.
- Stock control and warehouse management experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Fault finding and resolution.
- Able to plan and execute work to meet established goals with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with all levels of management, colleagues, and vendors.
- Effective oral and written communication
- Maintain a valid drivers license

Physical requirement
- Move or lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Physical demands are typical of a commercial maintenance and light manufacturing environment
Working Environment
- Onsite: Office environment with assigned workstation
- Limited exposure to hazardous chemicals
- This position may require the use of personal protective equipment during various tasks including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses and masks.
