Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee federal contract and commercial construction projects across the Midwest, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective supervision of construction teams and coordination with various stakeholders, including subcontractors and federal agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and labor to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of sites to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily logs and reports.
- Ensure that all federal contract requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and training to on-site staff to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project status and issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in federal contract and healthcare construction site supervision.
- Ability to travel weekly Mon-Thurs. throughout the Midwest as required.
- Ground-up experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
