What You Will Be Doing
This position is responsible for driving progressive maintenance processes that are predictive, preventive, and planned work practices that maximize mechanical reliability. Has direct responsibility for the production equipment, utilities, and building structures. Support, implement, and maintain food safety and quality practices as required through SQF. The role will be a key member of the operations management team responsible for leading the Maintenance function in a manner that supports plant safety, food safety, quality, environmental, and budget adherence.
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in maintenance, engineering, or production, including supervisory experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent with 10 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in maintenance, engineering, or production, including 8 years supervisory experience
- Experience in both self-directed work teams and autonomous maintenance is preferred.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred or ability to achieve certification within 12 months.
- Previous experience in the food industry is desirable, plus experience with packaging equipment.
