We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Rentals Operations Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in fleet management and logistics. Duties
- Oversee the end-to-end rental fleet operations, including vehicle transportation, maintenance callouts, and inventory control of wash chemicals and rental sundries.
- Coordinate transportation planning and dispatching activities to ensure timely delivery and pickup of rental vehicles, utilizing Microsoft Teams.
- Keep Fleet rental cars up to spec with regular cleaning and callouts for mechanical needs.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in logistics planning and execution.
- Monitor the location of vehicles pre and post delivery.
This position supports several day‑to‑day operations within a busy, growing automotive business. While the responsibilities are straightforward, the role does require someone who’s adaptable, dependable, and comfortable stepping into different tasks as needed. We’re a small, tight‑knit team, and everyone plays a meaningful part in keeping the shop running smoothly.
Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will feel right at home:
- Lot porter or vehicle porter
- Automotive detailing
- Lube technician or basic maintenance
- Service scheduling or general shop support
These backgrounds aren’t required, but they’re definitely helpful.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
- Ability to drive a manual transmission is a plus
