What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Shipping Order Picker position at Everflow Supplies LLC?
What you will be doing...
- Ensure completeness and correctness of all orders filled
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise and correct type of product is loaded and shipped
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with Stand up Cherry Picker
- Report quality issues on all products
- Ensure shipments are accurate and free of damage
- Tag any open and/or damaged boxes on racks for safety
- Use barcode scanning equipment to maintain computerized stock inventory
- Unpack received products, count, weigh and/or sort items
- Mark and/or tag containers with identifying information
- Communicate problems with forklift, structures, or materials
- Pick orders by reading pick tickets, move products to the shipping area and operate RF scanners during order picking
- Inspect and complete the pre-shift inspection for the forklift
- Operate Stand Up Cherry Picker and reach truck equipment to maneuver products within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as requested by Shipping Manager
- Assemble orders on pallet for shipment
- Carry or transport orders to staging locations
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE STAND UP CHERRY PICKER
