What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Center/Warehouse Associate position at Everfast, Inc. /Calico?
This position is full-time, on-site/in person
This position supports all aspects of our distribution center operations, including receiving and inspecting materials, cutting fabrics to specifications, picking, and packaging orders, preparing shipments for delivery to workrooms or customers’ homes, and performing other miscellaneous functions.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, have basic math skills, including calculating fractions, be detail oriented, able to distinguish between different types of fabric, color, proper side and direction of the fabric, be able to follow written instructions and measurements and have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment role is a plus, especially in textiles or retail.
Essential physical job functions include lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs; working on your feet for extended periods; standing, sitting and walking for duration of scheduled shift; possessing hand-eye coordination and dexterity to operate all required equipment, including scissors and cutting tools/machine, safely and competently; comfortably working from a scissor lift at height of 10 to 20 feet from the ground and able to communicate effectively (both oral and written) with management and co-workers. Training to use scissor lift and other equipment will be provided.
Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.to 4:30 p.m.
