Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash and card transactions seamlessly.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed, and tracking sales using retail math skills.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring all beverage stations are fully stocked.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper alcohol serving procedures to promote responsible service in nightclubs or hospitality venues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy shifts while maintaining quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order tallying.
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous; catering or brewing experience is a plus.
